It was really hard and I was very depressed most of the time I was in middle in highschool.</p> <p>When I turned 18 I moved out and began supporting myself.</p> <p>Sparrows and swallows are both symbols of freedom, and birds in general are a symbol for hope.</p> <p>I have one on each hip because nobody should touch another’s body there without consent.</p> <p>I got them to remind myself that I am strong and capable of making my own decisions, it really helps in tough situations.
